Optolong SHO Filter Kit 3nm 2 inch: everything for the Hubble palette in one set

With this set, you get the three narrowband filters for the classic Hubble palette all at once: H-alpha, OIII, and SII. In this top-spec version, all three filters have a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of only 3 nm, for maximum contrast and the darkest background. You photograph each line separately with a monochrome camera, after which you combine them into the well-known SHO composites with dramatic colors and structures.

Because narrowband filters block almost all light pollution and moonlight, you can also photograph with them from the city and during moonlit nights. So your setup rarely stands still.

Consistent as a set

The filters come from the same production line and are matched to each other, which simplifies color composition and processing. They fit in any standard filter wheel of this size.

Technology

Schott glass, optically polished, with multi-layer ion-assisted coatings: high transmission at emission lines, strong blocking outside of them, and temperature stability. Each set comes in protective storage cases.
