Optolong L-eXtreme Filter 1.25 inch: 7 nm dual-band for color cameras
The L-eXtreme is the sharpened successor to the L-eNhance: two passbands of 7 nm each, precisely on the H-alpha line (656.3 nm) and the OIII line (500.7 nm). Everything outside of that, from streetlights to moonlight, is blocked.
This allows you to capture the signal with a color camera in a single series of exposures that previously required a monochrome camera with a filter wheel. Emission nebulae show rich structure against a virtually black background. The 1.25-inch version fits into nosepieces and filter wheels with a 1.25-inch connection.

When L-eXtreme instead of L-eNhance
The smaller the aperture, the darker the background and the higher the contrast, especially under heavy light pollution or moonlight. With 7 nm per band, the L-eXtreme is a clear step beyond the L-eNhance in this regard.

Technology
Multi-layer ion-assisted coatings provide high transmission at both lines, temperature stability, and scratch resistance. The thin bezel minimizes vignetting.
