Optolong CLS Clip Filter Canon EOS APS-C: lichtvervuiling onderdrukken vanuit de body
You click a clip-filter into the camera body in seconds, directly in front of the sensor. Then you simply mount your lens or telescope adapter: the filter protects the sensor and filters every image you take. This CLS filter (City Light Suppression) blocks the disruptive emission lines of street lighting, while allowing the light from nebulae and galaxies to pass through.
The result under a city sky: a darker background, more contrast, and longer usable exposure times before light pollution overwhelms the image.

Click and shoot
The filter is installed and removed without tools and does not affect camera functions. Please note for Canon APS-C: EF-S type lenses extend too far into the body with their rear lens and cannot be used with a clip filter. EF lenses and telescope adapters work without limitation.
Widely applicable
CLS is a broadband filter suitable for emission nebulae, but also useful for galaxies and star clusters under moderately light-polluted skies. For unmodified cameras, this standard version is the right choice.
Featured accessories
For darker skies or nebula photography with more contrast, the Optolong UHC clip or an L-series filter is the next step.
