Omegon Variable Polarizing Filter 1.25 inch: Set the Brightness Yourself

For bright objects such as the moon and planets, the image quickly becomes too bright. This filter gives you control over the amount of light that is transmitted, from approximately 1 to 40 percent.

Stepless control

The filter consists of two rotating parts. By rotating them relative to each other, you can continuously adjust the light transmission. This allows you to set the exact brightness you need for each object and moon phase, instead of switching between fixed filters.

One filter instead of three

While fixed moon filters each have their own transmission, this filter covers the entire range from 1 to 40 percent. For those who use both a small and a large telescope, or who follow the moon through all its phases, that is more practical than separate filters.
