Omegon Color Filter Set 1.25-inch (6-piece): six color filters in one set
With this six-piece color filter set, you get more out of planetary observation. By filtering specific wavelengths, you increase the contrast on Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, making polar caps and cloud bands visible that would otherwise be lost in the bright light.

What is in the set
#21 Orange blocks blue and green, thereby enhancing the cloud bands of Jupiter and Saturn; on Mars, it accentuates dust storms. #25 Red blocks blue and green almost completely and is the standard for the polar caps on Mars. #12 Yellow enhances contrast on lunar craters and on Mars. #82A Light blue enhances contrast in faint areas without compromising brightness, and is therefore often combined with another filter.
Why a set
Which color filter works best depends on the object, the aperture of your telescope, and the conditions. With a set, you can experiment yourself instead of choosing a single color in advance, which turns out to be significantly more cost-effective per filter than purchasing them individually.
Featured accessories
All filters have standard 1.25-inch threads and fit any common eyepiece. Color filters are most effective on a telescope with an aperture of approximately 100 mm or more.
