Omegon Projection Adapter 2 inch with T2 connection: ocular projection in the 2 inch format
This adapter creates a projection setup in 2 inches: the housing fits into the focuser, the eyepiece goes into the adapter, and the camera screws onto the back via T2. The magnification of the eyepiece is then in the light path, which results in the image scale that lunar and planetary photography does not achieve.
The 2 inch construction provides space for larger eyepieces and keeps the field of view free from vignetting.

All-metal construction
The adapter is entirely made of metal and allows for the camera and eyepiece to be mounted without any flex cables. When projecting, this doubles the size: every movement between the eyepiece and sensor is magnified.
Fixed optical length of 53 mm
The fixed length makes the setup repeatable: the same magnification for each session. Those who want to be able to adjust the magnification look for the variable camera adapter.
Featured accessories
For telescopes with a 2 inch focus ring, 2 inch eyepiece mounts and cameras with T2 connection or T2 ring. There is a second Omegon projection adapter in this size; the designs differ in construction and price.
