Omegon Pro Field Flattener 2-inch: the heavier flattener for longer refractors

Deze Pro-flattener richt zich op refractors met 500 tot 1000 mm brandpuntsafstand en f/5 tot f/9, het bereik van de meeste middelgrote APO’s. Hij maakt het gebogen beeldveld vlak zonder de brandpuntsafstand te veranderen: dezelfde beeldschaal, maar scherp tot in de hoeken.

The wide M68 telescope side suppresses vignetting on large sensors, where a narrower flattener would already shadow the corners before the optics correct them.

Working distance per focal length

The correct sensor distance is between 87 and 106 mm, depending on your refractor's focal length. Shorter focal lengths require the shorter distance; determine yours once with test shots on the corner stars.

M68 to M48

The telescope side is M68; an adapter to M48 is included, so standard camera adapters and 2-inch filter chains fit directly. The optical length with adapter is approximately 55 mm.

Fully multicoated

The coating keeps the contrast high and prevents reflections from bright field stars.
