Omegon Premium Barlow Lens 3x Apochromatic (1.25 inch): apochromatic magnification without chromatic aberration

The Omegon Premium Barlow Lens 3x uses an apochromatic design with four lenses. Color aberrations are thereby almost completely corrected: the image remains sharp and color-pure, even at the high magnifications for which a Barlow is precisely used. A 15 mm eyepiece behaves like a 5 mm one with it, while retaining its own viewing comfort.

Four lenses, apochromatically corrected

Where standard Barlows with two or three lenses show residual color on bright edges, the four-element apochromatic design corrects this almost completely. The multi-coating on all glass surfaces keeps light transmission high.

Compression

The compression ring grips your eyepiece or camera all around, without the scratch of a single set screw. Important for photography, where every tilt becomes visible.

Who is the 3x factor for?

A 3x factor is the all-rounder among high magnification factors: visually usable on medium-sized telescopes and strong for planetary photography. For visual use, maintain a maximum of 2x the aperture in millimeters.

Combine with the center focus binoculars from your eyepiece set: they retain their generous eye relief while the Barlow provides magnification. For planetary photography, a planetary camera fits directly into the 1.25 inch mount.
