Omegon Dewlint 40 cm for 3 inch telescopes: dust-free at 3 inch optics

A dew strap works differently than a dew shield. Instead of shielding the optics, it holds the glass edge a few degrees above the dew point. This prevents water vapor from condensing on it, even at high humidity.

This ribbon is tailored to the circumference of a tube with an approximately 3-inch opening. It wraps directly behind the lens, where condensation forms first.

Applying and adjusting

Wrap the strap around the eyepiece, lens, or tube. The flexible design conforms to the curve, and the hook-and-loop closure secures it in place. A controller allows for stepless power adjustment.

Featured accessories

All LED strips in this series operate at 12V and have an RCA connector. For stepless dimming, use a controller; without a controller, the strip always runs at full power.
