Omegon Dew Heater Strip FogFree USB 20 cm: eyepieces and small lenses

The FogFree series works via USB instead of 12V. This means a regular power bank is sufficient: no battery, no cigarette lighter plug, and no controller needed. The strip keeps the optics a few degrees above the dew point, so condensation doesn't stand a chance.

This length covers large eyepieces, finders, and small camera lenses. For a travel setup with a lens on a tracker, this is often the right size.

Apply and feed

Wrap the ribbon around the eyepiece or the tube and secure it with the Velcro fastener. Connect it to a power bank, which makes the ribbon particularly practical for observing on location.
