Omegon Barlow Lens 2x 3-element (1.25 inch): three elements for a sharper image
The Omegon 2x 3-Element Barlow Lens doubles the magnification of your eyepieces, with a third lens element that makes all the difference: chromatic aberrations and image distortion are significantly lower than with standard two-element Barlows.
The image remains sharp to the edge, even when combined with wide-angle eyepieces.

Why three elements?
A Barlow is in the light path of every observation where you use it. Any residual color error therefore counts double. The third element corrects what a doublet leaves behind, and the multi-coating on all glass surfaces keeps reflections low.
Practically designed
The safety groove prevents the Barlow from sliding out of the focuser if the set screw isn't quite tight enough. Pair it with any 1.25-inch eyepiece, from Plössl to wide-field.
Featured accessories
Strong in combination with the medium focal length eyepieces from your set: a 15 or 20 mm eyepiece gets a second life as a planetary eyepiece. Keep a maximum of 2x the telescope aperture in millimeters.
For whom yes and for whom no
- ✓ Who wants one good Barlow instead of more eyepieces
- ✓ Owners of wide-angle eyepieces: the edge remains sharp
- ✗ For those who need a 2-inch light path: choose the 2x ED Barlow 2-inch
