Eyecup holder for Quark H-alpha filter, 2 inch | DayStar

Do you want to see a larger part of the sun with your Quark, or does your favorite eyepiece not fit the filter? With this DayStar Quark eyepiece holder, you can adjust the viewing side of the filter so that 2-inch eyepieces and accessories fit.

This way you can use a larger eyepiece or place other 2-inch parts behind the filter. See our ocular lenses and barlow lenses which eyepieces have a 2 inch adapter sleeve.

An eyepiece with a long focal brandlength provides a lower magnification and shows more of the sun disk. Due to the built-in barlow lens of the Quark, the magnification is already quite high, so the entire sun does not always fit into the frame. Always use the Quark as intended and never look at the sun without a full sun filter system.
