If you often change eyepieces on a cold evening, you want a quick-release adapter that you can easily attach with gloves on. This 1.25-inch to 2-inch adapter from Starlight Instruments in easy grip design allows you to use 1.25-inch eyepieces and accessories in a 2-inch focuser.

You use it with your 1.25 inch ocular lenses and barlow lenses in a focus lens with a 2 inch opening. So first check that your focus lens has that 2 inch opening.

The adapter also has a 48 mm threaded hole, the standard size for 2 inch filters. Check if it fits what you want to use, for example a 2 inch deep-sky filter or a connecting piece.

If you can't focus with your eyepieces, look at the low profile design, which builds as low as possible.
