Is your Tele Vue equipped with a heavy camera or diagonal mount and does the extension tube fall off when the telescope is tilted? Or do you simply want to focus more precisely? With this fine-focuser for Tele Vue from Starlight Instruments, you replace the gearwheel with the buttons of the rack-focuser. You keep the existing extension tube, get fine-tuning, and lock the focuser with the brake as soon as everything is sharp.
The set is intended for the focuser of Tele Vue refractors. Tele Vue has used various focusers over the years, so before ordering please check whether your focuser is compatible with the TVRFB-II.
The brake is especially useful for astrophotography with a heavier astrocamera. Work on assembly quietly and in a place where you won't lose small parts.
If you want to focus electronically later, check out the wired MicroTouch motor focus, which is intended for, among other things, micro pinion sets. If you would prefer to replace the entire focus system, then there is a Tele Vue adapter for Feather Touch.
