If you use your Takahashi CN212 as a Newton or a Cassegrain, you want to be able to focus accurately in both positions. With this focuser adapter for the Takahashi CN212, you can mount a Feather Touch 2008BCR focuser from Starlight Instruments on the telescope. The adapter has a 71 mm threaded hole with a speed of 1 mm.
The CN212 is a reflecting telescope in Newton configuration You can also use this one as a Cassegrain. Measure the connection on your CN212 before ordering.
The adapter is made for the 2008BCR focusers, so check whether you have that version or want to purchase it. After assembly, check if your eyepieces and camera still get to the sharpest point, and take the time to re-collimate, for example with one of our laser collimators.
