Explore Scientific Astro R-Lite: Light Without Losing Your Night Vision
The Explore Scientific Astro R-Lite is a red-light flashlight designed for observing in the dark. White light destroys night vision adaptation your eyes took twenty minutes to achieve in a second; red light leaves your pupils undisturbed.
This is how you read a star chart, change an eyepiece, or find something in your bag without having to readjust to the dark afterward.
Features
- Red light that preserves the night adaptation of your eyes
- Handy size, light enough to always keep in the accessory bag
- Also practical for camping and night photography
Compatibility
For anyone working in the dark: next to the telescope, behind the camera, or at the campsite. A red light lamp should be a standard piece of equipment in every observation bag.
