Dust cover for 12 inch Dobson telescopes | Astrozap

A 12-inch Dobson often has a fixed place in the house or in the shed, and that’s when an open tube collects amerk lot of dust on the mirrors. This Astrozap dust cover for a 12-inch Dobson prevents that.

The cover is made for 12 inch Dobson telescopes. Models in this size can be found at Classic Dobson telescopes; if in doubt, measure the outer diameter of your tube before ordering.

With a cover, you don't have to clean your main mirror as often, which is convenient with a large mirror. If you do take the mirror out to clean it, you'll have to do it again afterwards. coalign your telescope. After a wet evening, let the telescope dry thoroughly first and then only put the cover on it afterwards.

If your Dobson is a size larger, check the the cover for 14 inch Dobsons.
