Celestron PowerTank Lithium LT: stable power for your GoTo mount

The Celestron PowerTank Lithium LT is a compact lithium battery that provides your GoTo mount with stable 12V power for an entire observing night. Where eight separate AA batteries quickly fail in the cold and cause resets, this battery maintains a constant voltage.

With a 73.3 Wh capacity, you can power a mount for up to about 8 hours. Via the USB port, you can charge your phone at the same time, which is handy if it serves as a star chart.

Made for telescope use

The included 2-meter 12V cable connects directly to Celestron mounts such as the Astro Fi, NexStar SE, NexStar Evolution, and Advanced VX. The Velcro strap allows you to attach the battery to a tripod leg, preventing the cable from running across the ground.

Safe and economical

Overload, deep discharge, and short-circuit protection are built-in. Automatic shutdown prevents a forgotten battery from draining, and the lithium-ion cell type holds its charge for months during storage.

This is the logical power supply for any Celestron GoTo mount without an internal battery. For large mounts with many peripherals, such as dew heaters and a camera, consider a higher-capacity PowerTank.
