Celestron NexYZ Smartphone Adapter: Photograph Through Any Eyepiece
With the Celestron NexYZ, you can photograph through your telescope, binoculars, spotting scope, or microscope with the smartphone you already have in your pocket. The adapter clamps onto the eyepiece and holds your phone's camera lens exactly in front of the image.
The difference from simple adapters lies in the three axes: you shift the phone in the X, Y, and Z directions with adjustment wheels, so the camera lens is precisely centered in seconds. If you change eyepieces, you only adjust the height.

For moon, planets and more
The moon is the most grateful target: a handheld photo almost always fails, but with the NexYZ, it succeeds in one go. You can also capture bright planets, solar projection with a suitable solar filter on the telescope, and nature observation through a spotting scope.
Fits almost anything
The spring-loaded clamp fits eyepieces with an outer diameter of 35 to 60 mm and holds phones of virtually any size, including those with a thin case. The frame is made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic with metal clamps.
Featured accessories
On the moon, use a lunar filter: it dims the bright light and prevents overexposed photos. A self-timer or your phone's voice control will prevent camera shake when taking a picture.
For whom yes and for whom no
- ✓ Everyone who wants to photograph through the telescope without an extra camera
- ✓ Families: the image on the phone screen allows children to easily look along
- ✗ Deep-sky photography of faint nebulae: a smart telescope or an astro camera is the right tool for that
