The Bresser Amici prism 45 degrees provides an upright and laterally correct image. A regular zenith mirror erects the image but mirrors it; an Amici prism shows everything exactly as you see it with the naked eye. The 45-degree viewing angle allows for a relaxed posture when observing low on the horizon and during the day.

This is how you can turn your telescope into a spotting scope in a jiffy for daytime use: you can view birds, ships, and landscapes in their natural orientation. It's also convenient for beginner stargazers that the image matches the star chart.
