Bresser Amici prism 90° 1.25”

Bresser Amici prism 90° 1.25”: lifelike image, even during the day

The Bresser Amici prism 90 degrees provides an upright and laterally correct image. A standard zenith mirror flips the image vertically but mirrors it laterally; an Amici prism shows everything exactly as you see it with the naked eye. The 90-degree viewing angle is particularly comfortable for objects high in the sky, such as the moon around the meridian.

This is how you can turn your telescope into a spotting scope in a jiffy for daytime use: you can view birds, ships, and landscapes in their natural orientation. It's also convenient for beginner stargazers that the image matches the star chart.

Features

• Upright and laterally corrected image
• 90 degree viewing angle, comfortable for objects high in the sky
• Makes a refractor or Maksutov a fully-fledged spotting scope
• Standard 1.25-inch connection

Compatibility

Suitable for refractors and Maksutov telescopes with a 1.25 inch focuser. Not for Newton telescopes: the focal point is too close to the tube for a prism in the light path.
