Whereas standard telescopes often require separate filters, this solar telescope features a permanently mounted white light filter made of glass. This ensures maximum safety and fully complies with ISO 12312-2:2015 standards for direct observation of the sun.
Unique filter wheel for high-contrast detail
What sets this solar telescope apart is the innovative built-in filter wheel. This allows you to easily switch between different filters (red, yellow, blue, green, orange and ND). This allows you to view sunspots and surface details with much higher contrast than is possible with a standard white light filter.

Capture your observations directly with your own phone. The Acuter Solarus-80 comes with a universal smartphone adapter. Combined with the included 5-16mm zoom eyepiece, you can easily take impressive photos of solar eclipses or the transit of planets such as Mercury in front of the sun.
