Omegon Adapter for 50.8mm Crayford Focuser to Sky-Watcher Tube: Upgrade your focuser without drilling
Mounting a better focuser on a Sky-Watcher Newton presents a practical problem: the hole pattern of the tube does not fit the flange of the new focuser. This adapter plate solves that. It screws into the existing holes of the Sky-Watcher tube and offers the 80 mm connection of the Omegon Crayford focusers on the top side.
No measuring, no new holes, and the pipe remains undamaged for anyone who ever wants to go back to the original.

Made on the Sky-Watcher pattern
The plate follows the curvature and bolt pattern of the Sky-Watcher Newton tubes. Mounting is four screws out, plate on, four screws in.
Then collimate
After every focuser change, a collimation round is necessary: the new focuser helps determine the alignment of the optics. A laser collimator makes short work of this.
