Omegon Vixen-style 55 mm Dovetail Plate with Locking Screw: short plate for lightweight instruments

With this 55 mm dovetail, you can attach a light optical instrument to a Vixen-style clamp. You slide it into the clamp, tighten the screw, and the setup is secure.

The plate has a 1/4-inch photo thread and a sliding slot, allowing you to shift the position for balancing. At 55 mm, this is the shortest plate in the series, intended for small mini-mounts, cameras, and latitude wedges.

Compatibility

Vixen and Losmandy are the two common dovetail profiles. Vixen (also called GP) is narrow and most widespread; Losmandy is 3 inches wide and carries heavier instruments. Check which clamp your mount has before choosing.
