Omegon Pro Veil OIII Filters - see faint nebulae that normally disappear
You look through your telescope and notice that faint nebulae often fade away in the ambient light. This filter solves that immediately. The Omegon Pro Veil OIII 7nm filter blocks interfering artificial light and allows only the light from dual ionized oxygen to pass through. This makes faint nebulae such as the Cirrus Nebula or the North American Nebula stand out immediately.
More contrast, more details
The selective pass of the OIII filter makes the background darker and the nebular structures brighter. You can see fine details that would otherwise be lost in light pollution. Even in or near cities, you can see objects normally visible only in dark locations.

Flexible for visual and photographic use
The filter works great for observation by eye, as well as with a monochromatic camera. Combine it with H-alpha and SII filters for full color images of nebulae. This will bring out the delicate structures contrastingly and clearly.

Simple and durable
The glass sits in a sturdy aluminum mount. You simply screw it into your 2″ eyepiece or camera adapter. No fuss, no settings, just look and enjoy.
What we recommend
✓ Emission nebulae (OIII): excellent fit
✓ Planetary nebulae: very detailed
✓ Supernova residues: highly suitable
✓ Deep-sky (OIII objects): more contrast and detail visible
✗ Galaxies: not suitable
✗ Reflection nebulae: not suitable
