This HM5 polar finder rotates at the rear of the RA axis of your EQ5, NEQ5, or EQ6 mount. The alignment pattern shows you where Polaris should be within seconds, ensuring your mount is pointing exactly at the celestial pole. For photography, this is the key to sharp, round stars; visually, you’ll notice it in objects that stay neatly within the frame.

Also the right replacement part if your mount was delivered without a polar scope or if the original was damaged. The polar scope illuminator makes the pattern clearly legible against a dark sky.
