Sky-Watcher pier for the EQ6 family: your mount always ready for use

This pier replaces the tripod beneath an EQ6-class head. The 100 mm diameter and 81 cm high steel column keeps the mount vibration-free with heavy Newtonians, Schmidt-Cassegrains, or refractors. Long tubes rotate freely, with no tripod legs in the way.

Thanks to the three castor wheels, you can roll the entire setup outside all at once; with the leveling screws, it is then secured and level. This turns a patio or garden shed into a semi-permanent observatory where the mount can remain fully assembled.
