William Optics Vixen Style Mounting Base: the base for every finder bracket

The William Optics mounting base is the aluminum base used to mount a standard finder bracket or slide-base accessory to your telescope. The Vixen-compatible receiver accepts brackets from William Optics, Sky-Watcher, and Vixen, among others.

This is how you can still give a tube without its own finder shoe a fixed mounting location, for example for a UniGuide slide-base guidescope or a red dot finder.
