iOptron SkyGuider Pro Kit: Mounting set for your SkyGuider Pro

The iOptron SkyGuider Pro Kit expands your SkyGuider Pro from a camera tracker to a full-fledged telescope mount. The kit includes a dual saddle that accepts both Vixen and Losmandy rails, plus base plate, adapters, and mounting screws.

This allows you to mount a small telescope or a heavy telephoto lens more stably than with a ball head, and the setup remains neatly balanced within the 5 kg load capacity.

Heavy-duty clamp for Vixen and Losmandy

The dovetail clamp grips both common rail profiles. This allows you to quickly switch between telescope and camera setups without tools or extra adapters.

The base plate and screws are designed to match the SkyGuider Pro declination bracket, ensuring a snug fit without any play.

Balance is everything

A well-clamped and balanced setup directly relieves stress on the motor and improves tracking accuracy. This is especially noticeable with focal lengths above 200 mm, resulting in sharper stars.
