iOptron SkyGuider Pro Mount: Compact Tracking Mount for Astrophotography
The iOptron SkyGuider Pro allows your camera to automatically track the starry sky. Simply mount the unit on a photography tripod, align it with the celestial pole, and start tracking. This ensures that stars remain as points of light, even with exposure times of several minutes.
With a load capacity of 5 kg (11 lbs), the SkyGuider Pro can support a system camera with a telephoto lens or a small telescope. The complete package includes everything needed for a balanced setup: a declination mount, a counterweight rod, and a counterweight.
The mount itself weighs only 1.45 kg, including the base. This means the entire set fits in a camera bag, making it a trusted travel companion for low-light locations.

Accurate tracking in four speeds
The right ascension axis is driven by a DC servomotor with an optical encoder. This provides smooth, low-vibration movement, exactly what long exposures require.
You can choose from four tracking speeds: star speed for deep-sky imaging, half star speed for photos where both the landscape and stars remain sharp, and separate speeds for the sun and the moon. All speeds work in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

Align with the illuminated polar finder
The built-in AccuAlign polar finder features an illuminated reticle with adjustable brightness. This allows you to align the mount's axis of rotation parallel to the Earth's axis in just a few minutes.
If you want to align the telescope using your laptop, you can later upgrade the mount with the iPolar electronic polar finder.

Twenty hours on a single battery charge
The built-in lithium-polymer battery (3.7 V, 2000 mAh) keeps the tracker running for up to 20 hours at 20 degrees Celsius. You can charge it on the go using the micro-USB port, for example with a power bank.
An ST-4 port enables autoguiding for those who want even longer exposures. Using the declination bracket, you can also mount a second camera weighing up to 3 kg in place of the counterweight.
