iOptron GEM28EC Montering LiteRoc: Duitse precisiemontering met RA-encoder
The iOptron GEM28 is a classic German equatorial GoTo mount with a payload capacity of 28 lbs (12.7 kg), excluding counterweights, at a weight of only 10 lbs (4.5 kg). Its latitude range of 10 to 70 degrees makes it suitable for all of Europe.
De EC-uitvoering voegt een hoge-resolutie encoder op de rechteklimmingsas toe. Die meet de asbeweging continu en corrigeert de periodieke fout in realtime tot onder 0,3 boogseconde RMS.
Bij korte en middellange brandpuntsafstanden fotografeer je daarmee vaak zonder autoguiding, met strakke sterren in lange onbewaakte belichtingen. De ingebouwde iPolar en het LiteRoc statief maken de set compleet.
Realtime foutcorrectie met de RA-encoder
Waar een standaardmontering op PEC-training vertrouwt, corrigeert de GEM28EC de fout direct tijdens het volgen. Dat scheelt opzettijd, kabels en een guidingcamera.
Voor maximale precisie bij lange brandpuntsafstanden blijft de ST-4-poort beschikbaar voor klassieke autoguiding.
GoTo with 212,000 objects
The Go2Nova 8409 hand controller contains a database of over 212,000 objects. After alignment, the mount automatically slews to planets, nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies, keeping them precisely in view.
Via the built-in WiFi, you can also control the mount with iOptron Commander or planetarium software; ASCOM support enables full computer control. An ST-4 port is ready for autoguiding.
Smooth and precise mechanics
Stepper motors with belt drive move both axes smoothly and evenly. The periodic error remains below plus or minus 10 arcseconds and can be further reduced with recordable PPEC.
The gear couplings lock with a positive click and can also be operated with gloves. The Vixen saddle accepts dovetail rails as standard.
