Serious brightness with a calm, high-contrast image
The Zoomion 150 mm EQ (Gravity 150 EQ) is a robust Newtonian with serious light-gathering power. The 150mm mirror collects over 450 times more light than the naked eye, and the long focal length of 1400mm (f/9.3) provides a steady, high-contrast image. Ideal for the Moon, planets, and the first bright deep-sky objects.
What you see with it
The Moon shows shadow rims, mountain ranges, and hundreds of craters. Jupiter's cloud bands and Saturn's rings are clearly visible, and under a dark sky, the Orion Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy, and open star clusters appear. Magnification up to about 300x, twice the aperture in millimeters, is realistically useful.
EQ-3 Mounting: Stable tracking along the celestial axis

Featured accessories
With the Omegon Smartphone Adapter 25 to 48 mm (14.90 euros) you take your first Moon photo through the eyepiece. The bright Moon requires short shutter speeds, so the lack of automatic tracking doesn't play a role there.
For whom yes, for whom no
Good for: Beginners who want to start off right with plenty of opening for the Moon, planets, and initial deep-sky objects. Not for: Those looking for a light, easily transportable telescope; the whole setup weighs 17.5 kg. A tabletop Dobsonian would be more practical.
