Celestron Omni eyepiece 12mm 1.25 inches

Celestron Omni 12 mm: medium-high magnification for moon, planets, and compact deep-sky

The Celestron Omni 12 mm is a classic Plössl eyepiece featuring four fully multi-coated lens elements. The lens edges are blackened to reduce internal reflections, which ensures a high-contrast image with natural colors.

With a 12 mm focal length, you are in the middle ground: detailed enough for the moon and planets, bright enough for globular clusters and planetary nebulae.

Features

• Forty-degree Plössl design with fully multi-coated optics
• Blackened lens edges for maximum contrast
• Aluminum housing with matte anodized finish to prevent stray light
• Foldable rubber eyecup, also usable with glasses
• Threads for 1.25-inch (31.75 mm) filters

Compatibility

Fits in any 1.25-inch (31.75 mm) focuser or star diagonal and works with any telescope type: refractor, reflector, and catadioptric. The magnification you achieve is the focal length of your telescope divided by 12 mm.
