Optolong L-Pro 2'' filter: natural colors under city lights

The L-Pro is Optolong's most refined broadband filter: multiple precisely placed passbands block the emission lines of streetlights and natural airglow, while keeping the color balance virtually neutral. This makes it the light pollution filter for objects that need to retain their color: galaxies, star clusters, reflection nebulae, and the Milky Way.

In the 2-inch version, the filter fits larger sensors and in 2-inch filter holders, filter wheels, and photo adapters without vignetting on full frame.

Neutral where other filters color

More aggressive filters like CLS or UHC give a clear color cast and cost signal on broadband objects. The L-Pro preserves subtle hues and thus also saves processing time.

Solidly built

The optical glass is multi-coated against reflections and housed in a thin, black anodized metal ring with laser engraving.
