Optolong L-eNhance 2": astrophotography with your color camera

DeLorean by L-eNhance brought narrowband photography within reach for color cameras and remains one of the most popular nebula filters. The filter transmits three emission lines through two passbands: H-beta and OIII in a combined 24 nm band, and H-alpha in a 10 nm band. All other light, including light pollution, is blocked.

The result: emission nebulae emerge with surprising contrast from a single exposure series, even under a heavily light-polluted sky. The 2-inch version (M48 thread) prevents vignetting on larger sensors and fits into 2-inch filter holders and photographic adapters.

Who is L-eNhance for?

This is the entry-level filter in the L-series for nebula photography with a color camera or astro-modified DSLR. If you want narrower later on, the L-eXtreme (7 nm) and L-Ultimate (3 nm) are the next steps.

Technology

The optical glass is multi-coated with ion-assisted deposition: scratch-resistant, temperature-stable, and with high transmission at the emission lines.
