Omegon 12.5 mm Adapter veTEC / ATR3

Omegon 12.5mm Adapter veTEC / ATR3 shortens the flange distance from 17.5mm to 12.5mm. This gives you 5 mm extra backfocus space, which can be essential when using accessories such as filter wheels or filter drawers.

The adapter features a male T2 thread, while Omegon cameras have a female T2 connection as standard. This means that the accessories you pair must have a female T2 thread - something that is often the case with filter wheels or filter trays.

Thanks to its compact construction, you maintain maximum stability and precision. Moreover, in combination with the Omegon adapter ring M48-T2 (0 mm), you can also connect accessories with M48 threads.

The adapter is compatible with Omegon veTEC cameras and with ToupTek ATR3 cameras equipped with four screws around the connector. This housing form has been used since about 2023.

Observation goals
This adapter is ideal for astrophotographers who need extra backfocus space when using filter wheels or filter drawers in conjunction with Omegon veTEC or ToupTek ATR3 cameras.
