Waar het standaard T2-neusstuk volstaat voor lichte camera’s, is deze uitvoering gebouwd voor opstellingen waar meer gewicht aan hangt. De koppeling tussen focuser en camera is de plek waar doorbuiging het eerst optreedt, en doorbuiging betekent scheve sterren aan een kant van het beeld.

The adapter slides like an eyepiece into the 1.25-inch focuser and provides a T2 thread on which the camera and accessories are securely attached without vibration.

Built on stability

The wall thickness and fit of the slip-in sleeve are designed for carrying a camera instead of an eyepiece. This keeps the sensor perpendicular to the optical axis.

Stray light suppressed

The completely blackened interior prevents light coming in at an angle from reaching the sensor via reflections. When shooting with bright objects just out of frame, this makes a visible difference in contrast.
