Omegon Premium Barlow Lens 2x Apochromatic (2 inch): apochromatic magnification without color error

The Omegon Premium 2x Barlow Lens uses a four-element apochromatic design. Chromatic aberrations are thus almost completely corrected: the image remains sharp and true to color, even at the high magnifications for which you use a Barlow. The top model: apochromatic doubling across the entire 2-inch light path.

Four lenses, apochromatically corrected

Where standard Barlows with two or three lenses show residual color on bright edges, the four-element apochromatic design corrects this almost completely. The multi-coating on all glass surfaces keeps light transmission high.

Compression

The compression ring grips your eyepiece or camera all around, without the scratch of a single set screw. Important for photography, where every tilt becomes visible.

Who is the 2x factor for?

With 2x, you double the range of your complete eyepiece set, including 2-inch wide-angle eyepieces, without vignetting. The safest factor for visual use: virtually any telescope can handle the resulting magnifications.
