Omegon Carbonline Zenit Mirror 90° 2 inch 99% dielectric Twistlock is a premium diagonal mirror that combines comfort, optical excellence and safety for your accessories. The built-in twistlock - recognizable by the gold ring - replaces traditional clamping screws. With one twist, you secure an eyepiece, camera or adapter rock solid and perfectly centered, without risk of scratching or misalignment.

The optics have multiple dielectric layers and achieve a reflectance of 99%. This makes the image approximately 10% brighter than standard aluminum-coated mirrors. This extra light makes subtle details on planets visible and allows deep-sky objects to stand out better from the background.

The housing is made of a combination of carbon and black anodized aluminum: lightweight, strong and durable. The 90° viewing angle makes observing comfortable, even with objects high in the sky. With the included adapter, you can use your existing 1.25” eyepieces in addition to 2”.

The difference from standard zenith mirrors? No clamping screws that damage or skew eyepieces. The twistlock system always fixes gently and precisely in the center, even in the dark.

Application

Ideal for astronomical observations of moon, planets and deep-sky objects. Not suitable for terrestrial observations because the image remains mirrored.
