This set is the transition to the 2-inch format in one purchase: three 2-inch eyepieces, a 2x Barlow, a 2-inch diagonal, and five color filters, all in an aluminum case.

The larger size literally means more sky at a glance: large open clusters, the Pleiades, the Andromeda Nebula, and supernova remnants fit entirely within the field of view where a 1.25-inch eyepiece would have to choose.

Three 2-inch eyepieces

The 40mm, 32mm, and 26mm Kellner eyepieces provide the low magnifications that the 2-inch format is designed for. On a 200/1200 Dobsonian, the range goes from 30x to 46x, extending up to 92x with the Barlow.

Zenith mirror and Barlow included

The 2-inch zenith mirror immediately completes the set for refractors and catadioptric telescopes, and the 2x Barlow doubles the reach of any eyepiece.

Five color filters

Green, yellow, orange, red, and blue: each filter highlights different planetary structures, from Jupiter's cloud bands to Mars' polar ice caps.
