The Omegon Premium Zoomoculair 7.5-22.5 mm is one of the few zooms that approach the image quality of fixed focal points. Eight lens elements and a flat field of view keep stars at the edge pointillistic, in every zoom position.

You can choose the ideal magnification for your object in a second. On a 200/1200 Dobson, the range extends from 53x to 160x: from deep-sky overview to planet detail without switching eyepieces.

Eight elements, flat field

Where traditional zoom lenses sacrifice edge sharpness, this design actively corrects image field curvature. The result: pinpoint starry detail right to the edge and a contrast you’re used to from fixed premium lenses.

The high-quality multi-coating on all air-glass transitions keeps light transmission high and reflections low.

The practice: one eyepiece in the focus mechanism
