The Omegon Camera veTEC 533 C Color is a compact and powerful astro camera for astrophotographers who want to switch to cooled deep-sky photography in one step. The camera uses the well-known Sony IMX533 sensor, a modern back-illuminated chip with high sensitivity and virtually no amp-glow. This creates clean images with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, even at long exposures.
The active cooling system cools the sensor to 35 °C below ambient temperature. This makes it easy to consistently calibrate shots with darkframes and keep noise low, even on warmer nights. The square 9 MP sensor offers a nice field of view without vignetting in the corners and delivers true-to-life colors through the built-in color filter matrix.
The camera has a built-in USB hub, so you connect accessories such as a focuser or guider directly to the camera. This reduces cables and makes your setup more manageable. Thanks to the standard T2 and 2” connector, it fits virtually all telescopes and photographic systems.

What makes this camera special?
The veTEC 533 C Color delivers the same performance as the well-known ASI533MC Pro, but with an attractive price point and built-in USB hub. The lack of amp-glow and very low noise make this camera popular with astrophotographers who want a clean workflow without complicated post-processing. The square sensor offers a versatile field of view for both deep-sky and planetary use
