ZWO ASI585MM Mono: glare-free mono for any field of work
The ASI585MM is the monochrome version of the modern IMX585 sensor: 3840 x 2160 pixels of 2.9 micrometers, completely free of amp glow and without a Bayer matrix, thus with the full signal per pixel. This makes it the glow-free successor to classics like the ASI183MM.

Mono without calibration load
No amplifier glow means dark frames are easily kept or can even be omitted with shorter exposures. Combined with LRGB or narrowband filters, you can build color images with maximum sharpness.
The 2.9-micrometer pixels sample planetary detail around f/10 without a Barlow.

Widely applicable
With an IR pass filter, you can make calm luminance shots in moderate seeing conditions; with an H-alpha solar system, the sun becomes the work area.
The USB 3.0 and ST-4 port complete the camera, even as a sensitive guider in emergencies.

For whom yes, for whom no
Hello monophotographers looking for a modern, glow-free sensor for planets to deep-sky.
Not how long narrow band sequences will be planted; the Pro version with cooling is built for that.
