The GPM662M is the monochrome version of the GPM662C. The Sony IMX662 1/2.8 inch sensor has 1920 x 1080 pixels at 2.9 micrometers and is sensitive from 380 to 1100 nm. Without a color matrix, each pixel captures all the light, allowing you to find a usable guide star more quickly, even behind an off-axis guide star.
The noise level starts at 0.4 electrons. With a filter wheel and color or methane filters, the camera is also suitable for planetary photography in monochrome.
The camera has an ST4 port, so you can control the mounting directly, but it also works via USB with PHD2, N.I.N.A. and the ToupTek StellaVita. A 1.25-inch sleeve and a 5 mm adapter ring are included.
