A heavy assembly like the Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ6 doesn't want to be left lying loose in the car during transport. This AZ-EQ6 transport packaging from Oklop is made of foam and holds the assembly securely and protects it from shocks.
The AZ-EQ6 is used azimuthally or equatorially, often with larger telescopes or an astrophotography setup. If you take it into the field, then also consider: The 12V power cable for the AZ-EQ6GT. You can find other parts at the accessories for mounting.
The foam padding provides good protection against knocks, but is not itself resistant to rough use. Securely clip the packaging into the car, for example between other bags, and do not place heavy objects on top of it. Remove the counterweights and the hand controller before packing the assembly.
