Your camera has a T2 connector and your flattener M48, and they don’t fit together. For that situation, this adapter was made by Askar between T2 and M48. T2 (M42 x 0.75) and M48 (M48 x 0.75) are two commonly used screw threads in astrophotography.
For example, you connect a camera to it or a filter drawer from Askar join a flatterer or reduction for a larger field of view. This is how you combine parts that don't fit together on their own.
Before ordering, check which side of the inner thread and which side of the outer thread is on your parts; this determines whether the adapter fits. Also, take into account the adapter’s own length when calculating the backfocus. A few millimeters of difference can already be noticeable in the corners of your shots, as stars that look like streaks or comets.
