The H2O² is the second generation of the well-known Bushnell H2O series. The name says it all: this viewer is made for wet weather. The housing is waterproof according to IPX7 and gas-filled, so it won’t get wet when you get out of a cool car or are sitting in the water.
With 8x magnification and a 42 mm lens, you get a clear, quiet image with a 5.25 mm exit pupil. The rubber coating provides grip, even with wet hands.
For whom are these binoculars suitable?
For safaris, sailing, canoeing and hiking in varying weather conditions. Those who primarily look at birds from a distance will benefit more from a 10×42.
