TeleVue Starbeam – LED Finder
The TeleVue Starbeam is a high-quality LED viewfinder with which you can quickly and comfortably locate objects in the sky. Instead of a traditional optical viewfinder image, the Starbeam projects a small red dot onto a clear lens. This dot indicates exactly where your telescope is pointing.
This version comes with a base for Schmidt-Cassegrain (SC) telescope.

Precise aiming with adjustable brightness
The red projection point is dimmable, allowing you to perfectly adjust the brightness to the conditions. In very dark skies, you can set the point extra dim to preserve your night vision.
Is the point still too noticeable, even then? Then you simply switch from continuous light to blinker. This way the marking remains visible without obscuring faint stars.
Flexible view for maximum comfort
What sets the Starbeam apart is its built-in mirror construction. You can choose between straight-on viewing or an 90° viewing angle, and everything in between. This makes this finder particularly comfortable, regardless of your telescope's position.
Whether you're observing low on the horizon or high towards the zenith: you can easily adjust the viewing angle for a relaxed posture. This is a significant advantage, especially during longer observation sessions.
