The Hi-Hat is the best known of the TeleVue 2 to 1.25 inch adapters. Its top-hat shape raises a 1.25 inch eyepiece just enough to make it parfocal with the 2 inch TeleVue eyepieces.

When switching between a 21mm Ethos and a 1.25-inch Delos, you'll barely need to refocus with the HiHat. The new 24mm Delos also relies on this adapter for parfocality with the 1.25-inch line.

Four adapters, four heights

TeleVue consciously makes multiple 2 to 1.25 inch adapters, each with a different build height. The height determines where the focal plane of a 1.25 inch eyepiece will end up, and therefore whether it remains parfocal with your 2 inch eyepieces or with a Paracorr setup.

Choose the adapter for your situation: the HiHat for parfocality with 2-inch TeleVue eyepieces, the In-Travel for Paracorr setups, the Flat-top for minimal build height, and the Equalizer when it comes to balance.

Fits in any 2 inch focuser or diagonal and accepts any 1.25 inch eyepiece. The brass compression ring holds the eyepiece scratch-free.
