Birds on a pond or marsh and wildlife along the forest edge are often too far away for a pair of binoculars. The Vixen Geoma 65 is a spotting scope with a 65 mm objective lens and ED glass, in a set with a zoom eyepiece from 16 to 48x.
At low zoom you have a wide field of view to find a bird; then you zoom in for details. With these enlargements you can see every vibration, so you need to set it on a sturdy tripod, like the aluminum tripod 028B. You can find other models at our Spotting scopes for birds and nature.
On warm days, the air above land and water vibrates. Then, the highest magnification is not always the sharpest and stepping back often creates a calmer image.
If you want to take photos through the scope, then look at the camera adapter for the Geoma and check whether it fits your setup. More light and magnification give the Geoma III with 80 mm lens.
